What a whirlwind of a few months! I started training at Dwell Well Realty in North Park in late July, and it has been so fun shadowing and learning from the best, most unique group of people. The immense wealth of knowledge is unparalleled, the environment here is about collaboration, celebrating individuality, and knowing as much information about the field as possible to be able to serve the clients with the best service around. Buying a house isn't just about finding something that will suffice, but rather finding a home that will allow you to do what you do best -- and enable you to DWELL WELL in it.
As a newly licensed agent (FINALLY!!) I have the support system to be able to help you find the right home for you to be happy there for a long time. I've started to specialize in single family investment properties and properties that can be made into income producing property (hello second unit!), all without sacrificing the integrity of our Historic San Diego architecture. Creating denser housing in San Diego metro areas will allow the city to support the expected 1% per year population growth.
For the next few months, I will be posting weekly about how to utilize a second unit on the property to pay the mortgage. Building an accessory unit can mean money or extra space in the short term and a huge increase in property value at resale.
